Director Jung-chi Chang, the winner of the 49th Golden Horse Award for the best new director, was nominated for the Generation Unit of the Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin (Berlinale) by the film “ Touch of the Light”. To keep an eye on the teenage issues, in 2014, he produced the film “Partners in Crime”. This film talks about the teenage year everyone goes through—in the age which all of us need to be loved and being recognized.

When’s the turning moment that we start to talk about our memories instead of hurrying to grow up? The school infuses us with thoughts, and the school uniform standardizes the criteria. In this small society, as we soak up the knowledge, we explore and shape up what we’re like today with collisions.

In a suspicious murder, who can find out the real criminals and their partners? Who can stay in the age of amorphous ego? Director Jung-chi Chang records those ordinary teen ages which seem to be most transparent, but are actually most clouded.

第49屆金馬獎最佳新導演張榮吉，曾以《逆光飛翔》入選柏林影展「新世代」單元。關注青少年議題的他，2014年繼續推出《共犯》，談每個人的青春期、談那個我們都需要愛與被肯定的年代。

什麼時候開始，每個人從急於長大轉變為話當年？學校灌溉思想，並用統一的制服給予規範的標準，我們於是在這個小型社會裡摸索並創造自己的形狀，而其中也吸收知識的流動，不斷碰撞造就了現在的當下。

一椿懸疑命案，誰能找出真正的犯人及共犯？誰能停留在那不明確自我形狀的年紀？張榮吉導演用鏡頭紀錄最平凡之中看似顯而易見，卻始終蒙蔽的青春。
